About this tool
Convert between kilometres and miles, kilograms and pounds, Celsius and Fahrenheit, square feet and marla, litres and gallons, and more. Data sizes are shown in both decimal (1 MB = 1,000 KB) and the binary units computers often use (1 MiB = 1,024 KiB).
Frequently asked questions
How big is a marla?
Marla sizes differ by area. This converter uses 1 marla = 272.25 sq ft (the traditional standard). Some housing societies use 225 or 250 sq ft, so check the size your seller is using.
Why are there two kinds of gallons?
A US gallon is about 3.785 litres and an imperial (UK) gallon is about 4.546 litres. Both are listed.
Why does my 1 TB drive show less space?
Drive makers use decimal units (1 TB = 1,000 GB), while many computers show binary units (1 TiB = 1,024 GiB), so 1 TB appears as about 931 GiB.
