    About this tool

Social platforms, job portals and online forms often ask for images at a specific size. Keep the aspect ratio locked to avoid stretching, or choose “fit” to add padding so the whole picture stays visible. Everything is processed on your device.

    Frequently asked questions

    Will resizing reduce quality?

Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it larger than the original can look soft, because new detail can’t be created.

What does “keep aspect ratio” mean?

It keeps the width and height in the same proportion, so the image is not stretched or squashed.

What size is best for Instagram?

    A 1080 × 1350 portrait (4:5) shows largest in the feed. Square posts are 1080 × 1080.
